Zesty Lemon Pepper Salmon Burgers

Ingredients

  •  8-10 oz. cooked salmon
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (I used pink Himalayan sea salt)
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking burgers)
  • Lemon (for finished product)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in large non-stick skillet over medium heat. In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Divide mixture evenly into 3 burgers.
  3. Cook over medium heat, about 3 minutes per side.
  4. Serve with a fresh squeeze of lemon juice and topped with fresh avocado if desired on bun or over salad greens.
