Daffodil Time

The Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer Center is proud to be a presenting sponsor for this year’s Gems of Hope “Hope Blooms” daffodil campaign. To kick off the campaign, Gems of Hope invites you to the Community Cancer Center Wellness Gym on the second floor of the PCI building on Thursday, Jan. 9. Drop in anytime between 4:30-6 p.m. for a free “Etchings” of Hope event! This Hope Blooms Daffodil Kickoff will include snacks, tours and an etched daffodil glass/vase you will create to take home! All supplies and instruction will be provided for free.

About the Hope Blooms campaign

Traditionally, the daffodil has been known as the first flower of spring and to Gems of Hope, these flowers are a symbol of hope.

January 2 through January 31, purchase daffodils for your friends, your co-workers, for yourself, or anonymously for a local cancer patient. Through the Hope Blooms campaign, Gems of Hope can continue to provide inspirational cards and gifts to cancer patients receiving treatment. In addition, they facilitate community workshops, hold kids’ camps and a teen website for family support and provide cancer support books to our area school districts. Learn more at gemsofhope.com.
